Linda Ann (Foist) Rumph, 77, of Seymour, passed away on August 19, 2021.

She was born in 1944, daughter of the late Harry “Buck” and Irene Foist. She was baptized at Elizabethtown Methodist church. Later in life she became a member of Seymour Christian Church. Linda was a graduate of Seymour High School, Class of 1962. On November 3, 1962, in Spiceland, Indiana, she married Larry L. Rumph and he survives. Linda was a lifelong housewife and homemaker who loved her family and was very proud of her daughters and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and had an extensive home library. Linda also enjoyed working puzzles, crossword puzzles and cross stitching.

She is survived by her beloved husband; children, Lariann Rumph, Karyn (Scott) Fleetwood, Gina (Bill) Bane, Kristin (Dave) Rieckers; grandchildren, Allyson Fleetwood, Shelby Fleetwood, Alex Fleetwood, Samantha Bane, Gavin Bane, Zach Sanders, Will Rieckers and Katey Rieckers; great-granddaughter Kinsley Hunt.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Harry D. Foist and Farrell “Pete” Foist.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 4-8pm.

Private graveside service will be held at Reddington Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Covenant House, Lutheran Community Home, or the Schneck Foundation.
