Brian Goble

December 9, 1981 - April 28, 2017

Brian Joseph “Gomer” Goble, 35, of Greenwood and formerly of Seymour, felt the hand of God and went to Heaven on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Brian was born in Seymour, Indiana on December 9, 1981 to Mark and Patty (Werskey) Goble.
He was a 3 letter athlete in wrestling, track and football and 2000 graduate of Seymour High School. He was a member of Seymour Christian Church. He was employed with FedEx in Indianapolis. He loved to play sports, especially football, and make people laugh. He loved having a good time. He never knew a stranger. He would meet people and strike up a conversation with them. He was a very loving and caring person. He loved to eat, especially his Mom’s dirt cake and peanut butter fudge.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Jennifer (Steve) Fox; his nieces, Avery Jean and Emily Grace Fox; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents; Richard and Betty Werskey and Clyde and Mildred Goble; Uncle, Robert Werskey.

Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Voss and Sons Funeral Service at 1:30 pm with Reverend Bill Lockman officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm and on Tuesday, May 2 from 12 pm until the time of the service.

Memorial checks may be written to the Seymour Christian Church Building Fund through Voss Funeral Service.

So sorry for your loss. Brian was such a great person inside and out. Glad I had the pleasure of growing up him and being one of the "neighborhood friends." He will be missed!

Brian was always friendly and fun loving if we were at a family gathering or at school we always talked sharing about what was going on in our lives to Mark and Patty I don't quite know what to say my heart is broken for you both and I hope God can heal your pain and give you comfort he will be missed With love Cousin Stacy

Though I haven't seen Brian in years I could always expect a text or Facebook message a couple times a year checking in to see how my family and myself are doing and always asking how my career was progressing. I will miss that, he was one of a kind. So sorry for your loss.
