Wayne Sherrill

Wayne B. Sherrill, 74, of Seymour, passed away September 23 at Majestic Care of North Vernon.
Born March 1, 1947, in Lawrence County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruth (Murphy) Sherrill. He married Beth Ann Gregory on June 17, 1967, in Reddington.
Wayne was a 1965 graduate of Seymour High School and a graduate of Indiana State University. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Reddington Christian Church and Masonic Lodge #412 in Hayden.
He is survived by his wife, Beth; daughters Melissa (Stephen) Gwaltney of Chapel Hill, NC, and Jennifer (Rick) Meyer of Seymour; grandchildren Ethan (Emily) Gwaltney of Houston, TX, Madelene (Logan) Martin of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Amanda Gwaltney of Chapel Hill, NC, and Grace, Eli, and Jordan Meyer of Seymour. He is also survived by a brother, David Sherrill, and a sister, Dianna Caffee, both of Seymour.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 26 from 1-3pm at Voss Funeral Home. Service will immediately follow. A private graveside service will be held Monday at Riverview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Reddington Christian Church, Riley Hospital for Children, or the charity of your choice.
