Mr. Steven Vogel, 57, of Scottsburg, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Seymour. He was born in Seymour to the late John E. and Jane (Allen) Vogel.
Funeral prayer services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, August 31 at 11 am with Deacon Mike East officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of service.
He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Seymour High School; class of 1980. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, scuba diving, trapping, gardening, hunting ginseng and running his Beagles.
Steven is survived by his brothers, Nick (Julie) Vogel, John (Joyce) Vogel, Pat Vogel (Debbie) Clark; lifelong friends, Bob (Tammy) Wright; loving companion, Christina Hill as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Vogel
Memorials may be written to American Cancer Society, St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Youth Educational Fund at Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
