Sherryl (Moore) Lamb, passed away on May 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sherryl was born in 1938 to the late Donald Moore and Naomi (Ricks) Moore in Washington, Indiana.

On December 8, 1957, Sherryl married Robert L. “Bob” Lamb in Washington, Indiana and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2011. She loved to travel especially to Europe and was even able to visit the Holy Land. Sherryl also loved going to Siesta Key, Florida. She was a master gardener and loved giving back to her community. Sherryl was highly active with charitable organizations such as Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Alzheimer’s Association, Meals on Wheels, CASA and numerous other organizations.

Sherryl is survived by her children, David W. Lamb, Kenny A. (Deena) Lamb, and Laurie A. (Robert) Johnston; grandchildren, Brea Street, Tanner J. Street, Ashley L. Lamb, Lauren P. Johnston; great-grandchildren, Chandler Long, Chloe Long, Izabellah Long, Delainey Street and Gunner Street; sisters, Virginia Burger and Christie Stubbert; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, and a brother, Donald Moore.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 11am-1pm.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 1pm.

Burial and graveside service will be Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11am at Bethel Cemetery, Veale Township, Daviess County, Washington, Indiana, next to her beloved husband Bob.

Memorials may be written to the Alzheimer’s Association or Riley Children’s Hospital.

Masks are required as well as social distancing within the building. Cards and notes of condolence are most welcome.

I worked with Sherryl at Seymour Glass back in the early 1980's. She was such a sweet lady and had so much patience, grace and integrity. She asked me to join ESA which I gladly accepted and we had many great years serving together. She was kind and a very classy lady. Prayers for peach and comfort to all her family and friends.

Sorry for your loss. Just hearing your Mom's name brings back many memories of us all growing up on Wendemere. Mini-bikes, playing ball, bows and arrows and Yogi diving for tennis balls. The memories go on and on and she was right in the middle of them. God Bless! Harry Dee Knight
