Sheila Maureen (Caplinger) Harshbarger, 74, passed away on June 30, 2021, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana with her family by her side.

Sheila was born in 1946 to the late Emmett W. “Cap” and Hettie B. (Shanks) Caplinger in Seymour, Indiana.

Sheila married Ronald G. Helton who preceded her in death. She then married Marvin Harshbarger and he preceded her in death. Sheila was a member of Hilltop Pentecostal Church. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and was all about her church.

Sheila is survived by her children, Yvette Michelle Jackson and Misty Dawn Wingate; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;brothers, William E. Caplinger and Larry Caplinger.

Sheila is preceded in death by her beloved husband; son, Kirbie Kent Cockerham II; parents; brothers, Emmett W. Caplinger Jr., Lee Roy Caplinger and Paul Caplinger; granddaughter, Keiana Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service after 12pm until time of service at 1:30pm.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 1:30pm.

Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be written to Hilltop Pentecostal Church.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.
