Roy Pollard

July 6, 1930 - November 15, 2020

Mr. Roy Eugene “Bud” Pollard, 90, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Seymour Crossing. He was born in Seymour on July 6, 1930, to the late Roy and Leona (Schneck) Pollard.

Bud was a graduate of Shields High School, class of 1948. He began working for Seymour Water Company and then continued on with Indiana American Water Company where he retired after several years of service. He enjoyed going to auto auctions, working on cars and doing puzzles.

Bud is survived by a son, Justin (Natasha) Richie; grandchildren, Jaerin and Jayden Richie; sister, Mary B. Miller; and nieces, Ann Marie Miller, Jane (Ryan Kim) Blevins, and Sue (Phil) Bonneau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother, Robert Dale “Bob” Pollard.

A private family graveside service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery.

My Dad and I worked with Roy at the Water Co He always had a good story everytime i would talk to him.He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.I loved that laugh of his.My daughter called him the chicken man when she was a little girl because of all the chickens running around his house.lol Rip my friend

Bud and Bob were my two zany cousins. They loved motorcycling and going to MC races. They were generous with their time and money. They will be missed. Betty Schneck Canada

Bud and Bob two wonderful people they marched to the beat of their own drum but would do anything for you. Nothing but good memories and lots of great stories and I think of them often and will continue to into the future. Rick Schleibaum

i used to play a lot of pool with bob and roy at als pool room. they were always quiet and always friendly .
