Roy A. Bogard 63, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Saturday May 22, 2021 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in 1957 to the late Betty Ross Bogard and Golden “Giggs” Bogard in Seymour.
He married Rhonda Hopper-Bogard in Seymour and she survives.
Roy proudly served his country in the United States Army and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR races, animals, and being with his family.
Roy is survived by his wife, two sons; Fonzie Bogard and Roy (Jackie) Bogard, grandchildren; Lexus, Matthew, Cody, Kaitlin, and Isaiah, brothers; Jerry Meadors and Mike Bogard, sisters; Betty Jo Cornwall, Kay Graves, Anna Gonzales, Dorothy Bogard, and lots of nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Voss & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. till time of service at Voss & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Hayden Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Memorials may be given to Jackson Co. Dog Shelter in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service
