Rita Ann (Pruitt) Guffey, 69, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Woodland Hills Care Center in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Rita will always be remembered for being such a loving mother and sister. She took great pride in her crafting and was the expert at sewing and quilting. Rita was also a passionate supporter of Sun Valley Indian School in Holbrook, Arizona.

Rita was born in 1951 to the late Martin Pruitt and Jo Ann (Steele) Pruitt in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

On June 26, 1976, Rita married William Robert Guffey who survives.

Rita is also survived by her son William D. (Samantha) Guffey; brothers, Richard Pruitt and Bob Pruitt; and sister Sue Foy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 9am until time of service at 10:30am.

Funeral service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 10:30am Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
