Richard W. Lambring, 80, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away January 18, 2021 at Seymour Crossing. He was born in 1940 to the late Gus and Alma Moenning Lambring.

On April 4, 1961 he married Phyllis Darlage she survives. Richard was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Sauers where he served on the church council, was a member of the churches men’s club, and played dartball. Richard also, served on the REMC Board of Directors for many years.

Richard is survived by his wife and daughter Staci (Jonathan) Eglen, granddaughters Kaelen and Kylie Eglen and his dog Sophia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Kinzie Eglen, brothers; Wilbur Lambring, Fred Lambring, and sister Marjory Lambring.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Saturday January 23, 2021 at 12 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Sauers.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service.

The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Richard will be missed by many friends in the community. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the church as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to church social distancing requirements.
