Nathan John Noblitt, 49, of Seymour, passed at home unexpectedly Friday Sept 7, 2018. He was born in Seymour on March 18, 1969 to Glenn Noblitt and Nancy (Waldkoetter) Noblitt.

Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, September 13 at 11:00 am with Rev. Keith Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until time of service.

Nathan believed in the Lord and was raised in First Church of the Nazarene now known as The Point he also attended Peter’s Switch Church of the Nazarene and Christ Covenant Church. Nathan spent many years working side by side with his father at Noblitt Excavating and Construction. He also was a Cement Mason. Nathan was a simple man he loved to fish, hunt, and be on the river. He was a local history buff and loved hunting for arrow heads.

Nathan is survived by his wife of 27 years Amy Noblitt, sons, Chris Frazier, Jeramiah and Daniel Noblitt, sisters, Julie Mohr, Eva (David) Auleman, and Beth (Noblitt) Linnemeier, grandchildren, Abel Noblitt, Hailey and Bradyn McFarland.

He is preceded by his father.

Memorials may be written to help family with funeral expenses, in the care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Lit a candle in memory of Nathan Noblitt

We go back a long way and along that path he's always been my Friend wether we were camping,partying or in his boat fishing at his favorite fishing holes. I worked with Glen and Nathen Noblet off and on for about 10 years, and there was never a dull moment. My prayers go out to their kinfolk. But if I know the pair their on a sandbar w/a fishing pole in their hands, telling tall tales from their past with a grin on their faces. I'm going to miss them both. Friends,. Until the end and beyond... Until we meet again......Rest -N - Peace

He was a crazy old man who would show up out of the blue with a bottle of peppermint schnapps and a smile on his face and tell you stories and speard some knowledge to us youngins. He was great man and he will be missed. Rest easy Noblitt

Grew up with Nathan in Nazarene church. No one like him a true devotion he had with his family what a blessing it's been for me from the Lord to have known him an his family my thoughts an prayers are with you all forever a gift from the Lord RIP Nathan your work here on earth is done.
