Kevin “Kaya” Maschino, 62, of Seymour, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center. Kevin was born in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Anthony and Marilyn Wilson Maschino. He was a graduate of Seymour High School. He served in the United States Navy and was a Nuclear Technician on the USS Enterprise. He was a member of the VFW. Kevin was a caring and giving individual and he was an uncle to everybody. He loved to watch sports and play trivia. He was a very quick-witted person. He loved his family and was always putting others first. Everyone could always count on Kevin to help with whatever was needed.
He is survived by his sisters; Lisa Maschino, Gina Maschino, Michelle (Brad) Emerson, nephew; Chase Emerson, niece; Chelsea Emerson, and several aunts and uncles and cousins. Lifelong friends and cousins Joe, Whitney, Rion, and Mike.
He is preceded in death by his brother; Gregg Maschino, parents, and grandparents.
Services will be Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1pm at Voss and Sons Funeral Service with Deacon Mike East officiating. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison.
Friends and Family may gather at Voss Chapel on Sunday from 4 to 8pm and on Monday from 12pm until time of service.
Memorials may be written to the family for funeral expenses in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service
