Im very sorry Dennis and all your family your dad was one of a kind. He called me the big fart! I dont know what was funnier him laughing at my fart or the fart paralyzing him and almost falling off the porch!!!! I am so glad I was able to make him laugh and gag at the same time. God bless you Mr.Russel and your family!!!!!!!

I grew up across the street from the Russell's, can't remember not ever knowing them. I was at their home as much as my own. Mr Russell was a soft spoken man with a gentle spirit and always had a smile. I can remember him tinkering around in his garage on a lot of days. I am thankful that he left heartprints on my life as a kid growing up in Ewing. He is a man who has left a great legacy for his children and grandchildren. I'm glad I was honored to know him.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I think we all have crazy stories of uncle Junior but I think what stands out the most is he was always the same. He will be greatly missed but at least we have awesome memories and stories to share.

in my youth my uncle jr came to our house almost every day for coffee and every visit was entertaining. I remember so well the day my dad was shoveling out the culvert under the driveway and knowing jr would be there at any time, I put this big ole rubber snake on dads shovel and we stuck it in the culvert. when jr got there he walked up to talk and dad pulled that shovel out with that big fake snake and uncle jr jumped and took off running like a marathon man and I don't think he stopped until he was almost a quarter of a mile away. he probably wanted to beat me but we all had a good laugh when he finally made it back to the house. he was loved by all who knew him and will be missed forever. rhonda

I remember I was about 5 and he cut the head off a snake by the garage with a hoe. He was the bravest man I knew in a 5 year old boys life that day. He once let me chew tobacco and I'd never been so sick as he made me hide between his chair and the corner from Grandma so he wouldn't get in trouble. He got such a kick out of seeing me green faced. (I remember begging him to let me have it) I'm gonna miss this man so much. Could not have asked for a better grandfather in my life.
