Elizabeth Fay Trapp-Thompson, born in 1981 in Seymour, IN, passed away on December 11, 2019 in McHenry, IL with her husband by her side. She was 38 years old.

Raised in Brownstown, IN, Elizabeth attended Brownstown Central Schools where she graduated in 2001. After graduating, she filled her wanderlust through traveling, visiting most of the country, although she always held a special love for Memphis, Tennessee. An advocate for animals, Elizabeth was active in helping bring awareness to rescue animals.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Ryan Thompson; mother, Alice Trapp; and sister, Heather Trapp. Friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour, IN on Sunday, December 15, 2019 between 4PM to 7PM and Monday from 12PM until time of service. Burial will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 with service starting at 1PM. Pastor Joseph Barlau will be officiating.

Memorials may be written to charity of choice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

I met liz about two years ago, from the beginning of our friendship I knew she was a person of the people. Very caring, genuine, and compassionate. Liz touched many hearts! She left a trail of broken hearts behind her but we will never stop loving her and thinking about her. RIP beautiful angel! My thoughts are with her mom, sister & husband.

I have many memories of Liz as a young girl, from lawnmower rides To watching Cry Baby and Cocktails. Dancing out front to Paula Abdul and jumping on a neighbors furniture to John Mellencamps Hurt so good. Hanging out with you and Heather after I moved it all seemed so different but I cherish those memories! My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.
