Mrs. Carol Lee Sumner, 80, of Seymour, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Charlestown to the late Lee and Katherine Pigg.
She married Jerry Sumner in 1957; he preceded her in death. She had worked at the Indiana Army Ammunitions Plant in Charlestown until it closed.
Carol is survived by her children, Michael (Shannon) Sumner, Terry (Betsy) Sumner; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Timothy Sumner; brothers, Brock Aaron and Jack Aaron.
Memorials may be written to Alzheimer’s Association, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
