Buddy Jines

November 19, 1961 - September 30, 2021

Buddy A. Jines, 59, of Seymour, passed away on September 30, 2021, at his residence. He was born in 1961, son of the late Joe and Donna (Phillips) Jines in Columbus, Indiana. Buddy was a newspaper carrier for the Republic. He had many hobbies including riding motorcycles, hunting arrowheads, fishing, mushroom hunting, and completing puzzles.

Buddy is survived by his children, Bradley Perry (Liam Bathory), Rachel (Nick) Redwine, and Autumn Thomas (Skylar Monroe); grandchild Russell Redwine; brothers, Larry (Brenda) Jines, Ray (Tracy) Jines, and Rick Jines.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Candy Wheeler.

In keeping with Buddy’s wishes, cremation is being provided by Voss Funeral and Cremation Services.

Memorials may be written to the Native American Rights Fund.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.

He delivered the Republic paper to us in Columbus for several years, and we always admired his ability perform this job in all sorts of weather and morning darkness.
