Mrs. Sue Lauster, 80, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in 1938 to the late James Carroll and Ethel (McKain) Jackson.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, December 27 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown, Indiana.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until time of service.
She enjoyed dirt track racing and John Gill but she loved Elvis Presley. She made friends with everyone. She worked for Cummins for many years and had been working as an attendant at Circle K for the past 25 years. She really enjoyed her time at Circle K.
She is survived by her son, Rick (Glenda) Lauster; grandchildren, Miranda Lauster (Andrew Botkin), Kyle Lauster (Penny Moore), Mason (Carol) Lauster, Hayden Lauster and Bailey Lauster; great-grandchildren, Owen Lauster, Ella Botkin and Sullivan Lauster.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Lee Lauster; and daughter, Jamie Lee Lauster.
Memorials may be written to Breast Cancer Research or Don and Dana Myers Cancer Center, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Sue was my oldest cousin. Until some time last year I had not seen her in over 60 years. My granddaughter saw her at the nursing home and told me she was there. I went to see her and Jamie was there visiting so I got to see both of them. My mother, her aunt Sis, always kept track of her because she loved her brother Bud so much, Sue's father. But since her death in 1994 I lost track of her. Rest in peace dear cousin. I think I had a glimpse of what my grandmother must have looked like when I got to talk to you.
