Mrs. Lucille Klosterman, 101 of Seymour passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
She was born on September 24, 1915 in Seymour, the daughter of the late William and Louisa (Taulman) Bedel.
She was a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church, Seymour. In her early years she worked at Gerwin Shoe Factory. She was very blessed to be able to stay at home the majority of her life and be a homemaker.
Lucille enjoyed quilting as she made several quilts for family and friends. She always loved to interact with people and loved to her hear the words “Lets Go”. She was a very spunky and ready to go lady.
She married Roy Klosterman on December 5, 1934; He passed away January 18, 1992.
She is survived by her sons Jim (Dixie) Klosterman and Danny Klosterman; grandchildren Joey Klosterman, Becky Klosterman, Kellie (Michael) Pelston and Holly Howard, great grandchildren Landon Owens, Levi Pelston and Madison Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister: Alice Bedel, infant twin daughters: Mary Ann and Phyllis Ann Klosterman and infant twin sons, Tommy and John Klosterman .
Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 25 at Voss and Sons Funeral Service at 10:30 AM with Reverend Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview.
Friends may call at Voss & Sons on Wednesday, May 24 from 4 to 8 PM and Thursday from 9:30 until the time of the service.
Memorial checks may be written to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association or Peace Lutheran Church.
