Mike and Bev, Thank you for being such good friends to mom and dad and especially dad after mom passed. We never had to worry about him because we knew you were right there. He was even telling us the story of you checking on him right before he came home, after he didn't get his paper one morning, only to find out he had stayed up all night working on taxes. We will be down to see you all this fall, Hugs, Cyndie and Bob True

The cigar smoking sounds exactly like what my dad would do. Thank you so much for sharing fun memories. I am one of his many daughters who probably played secretary at your desk when dad took us into the office on Saturdays. Cyndie Luker True, Pendleton, Indiana

I am very sorry to hear of Luke’s passing. I was his secretary at PMM&Co. for several years. He was very pleasant to work for and a true gentleman. Luke knew that I didn’t like cigar smoke. Occasionally after his lunch, he would buy a cigar, come in my office and light it up. He would stand there making small talk and ask how my day was going. I would respond by saying “pretty good until now!!” He would continue blowing smoke for a minute…all the while with a grin on his face :-) Luke and his wife kept in contact for a few years after I left PMM through Christmas cards that we exchanged, and then we lost contact….which I truly regret. My sympathy and prayers go out to his family at this time of loss. Pat Adams, Brownsburg, IN
Mike & Bev Easton left a message on June 29, 2018:
It all began early one day in February of 1996 when I rang the doorbell of Unit 6202 in condo building #6 at Stoneybrook G & CC. A man answered and introduced himself as "Luke" Luker. He graciously accepted the invitation to serve on the first board of directors for our 30 condos. His vast financial experience served us exceptionally well for many years. We were truly blessed to have had the opportunity to know Luker, his wife Dot and his entire family. We can honestly say that we have never met a finer human being. We will truly miss him! Love, Mike & Bev Easton
