Pauline Helen Shields

Mrs. Pauline Helen Shields, 84, of Seymour, passed away at 10:07 PM, Thursday, October 13th, 1008 at Jennings Health Care Campus, North Vernon, IN.

Pauline was born in Decatur County, IN on February 15, 1924, the daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Kehrt) Bannister.

She was the widow of Willis "Shorty" Shields, whom she married July 1st, 1953 in Seymour.

She Retired from Muscatatuck State School.

Pauline is survived by: two sons Charles Edward (Violet) Gudgel, Curtis (Beverly) Gudgel
a brother, Delbert Bannister, 11-grand, several great and great great grand children, 1-niece and several nephews.

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, 1-son: Duane Gudgel and 1-brother: Wayne Bannister

Membership includes: Oak Grove Ladies Aid, VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1925 and she cared for many foster children for over 11 years "56 children"

Funeral Service will be at Voss Chapel, Seymour, IN, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 17th, with Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday 4-7pm and Friday after 12:30 p.m. until time of service .

Burial will follow at Reddington Cemetery Seymour, IN.
