Mr. Marvin L. Stuckwisch, 78, of Seymour, passed away at 2:10 AM, Saturday, November 15th, 2008 at his residence

Marvin was born in Seymour, on October 5, 1930, the son of Edwin H. and Lydia M. (Wagner) Stuckwisch. On October 20, 1951 he married Betty (Williams) Stuckwisch at Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage.

Marvin worked at Cummins Engine Co. for over 34 years before his retirement in 1985. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Seymour Elks Lodge #462

Besides his wife of over 57 years Marvin is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jane (Dennis) Klinge and Donna Jo (Ron) Pollert, four sisters, Matilda Bode, Gertrude (Harold) Sutton, Barbara (Don) Williams, Carolyn Staley, two brothers, Ervin (Janet) Stuckwisch, James (Lois) Stuckwisch, a sister-in-law Brenda Stuckwisch, six grandchildren, Heather (Hung) Nguyen, Allison (Josh) Kline, Elizabeth Klinge, Kyle Klinge, Adam (Stacy) Pollert and Ian Pollert, two great- grandchildren, Ellen Nguyen and Collin Pollert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth Stuckwisch and a sister, Mildred Lynch.

Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:30 AM
with Reverend Ralph Blomenberg and Reverend Philip Bloch officiating.

Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday Nov. 18, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and after 9:30 AM on Wednesday until the time of service.
