Esther Mackey

Mrs. Esther L Mackey, 94, of Seymour, passed away at 2:45 AM, Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 at Millers Merry Manor in Hope, IN.

Esther was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 9, 1914, the daughter of Henry and Amanda (Snyder) Wilkins. On July 21, 1934 in Brownstown she married Earl W. Mackey. He preceded her on January 7, 1985.

She was a member of Immanuel Luthern Church and a homemaker.

Her survivors include: two daughters, Shirley (Van) Swindall and Earlene (Wayne) Schutte, two grandchildren, Justin Baier and Sonya Cahalen, three great-grandchildren Zachary, Lisa, and Jamie Cahalen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Elmer Wilkins, George Wilkins, Marshall Wilkins, and two sisters, Edith Miller and Kate Harness.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday Nov. 7 at Voss Chapel with Rev. Philip Bloch.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel from 4:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2008 and after 9:30 on Friday.
