Earl Hankins

Mr. Earl W. Hankins, Sr., 73, of Seymour passed away at 2:54 AM, Sunday, November 2nd, 2008 at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour, Jackson County, IN.

Earl was born in Seymour, IN on July 24, 1935, the son of the late Elijah and Hattie Mae (Eglen) Hankins.

Earl is survived by two daughters, Hattie J. (George) Anthony Cannie M. Hankins and nine sons James S. Hankins, Aaron W. (Mary) Hankins, Elijah J. Hankins, Benjamin I. (Wanda) Hankins, Earl W. Hankins Jr., Mark P. (Jessica) Hankins, Isom W. (Doris) Hankins, Joel M. (Rochelle) Hankins, William C. Hankins and former wife; Sharon Hankins.
He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and one sister Joye Spurgeon.

He is preceded in death by one son; John A. Hankins and one daughter; Marriam S. Hankins, two brothers; John D. Haley Sr. and V. Sanford Hankins.

Graveside services will be conducted by Bro. Kelly Reed at 2:30pm Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Friday November 7, 2008 at Seymour Harvest Church with a meal following.
