Anna Lorraine (Greene) Purvis

Mrs. Anna Lorraine (Greene) Purvis, 73, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, October 15th, 2008 at Kindred Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

Anna was born in Vevay, Indiana on June 11, 1935, the daughter of James Hines and Eliza Ellen (Phillips) Johnson.

She was married to Jack Greene who preceded her in death. On April 15, 1978, she married Jim Purvis, who also preceded.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Anna is survived by her children; Jackie Johnson, Terry (Margaret) Greene, Cathy (Butch) Wheeler, Robin (Jim) Anderson, Angela (Gobel) Banks, Ruth (Clark) Klinkenberg, 5 step children, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, sister; Patricia Walters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, infant brother; Arlan Johnson, and uncle; Samuel John Phillips

Services will be held at Voss Chapel, Seymour, at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 18th, with Rev. Jerry Wheeler officiating.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM until service time.

Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour, with a Voss Dove Tribute.
