Mark Adams - Owner
Mark
Adams is a licensed Funeral Director and owner of Voss & Sons
Funeral Service, Inc. He was born in Columbus, Indiana and
graduated from Seymour High School in 1981. In 1985 he
graduated with scholastic honors from Mid America College of
Mortuary Science. He and his wife, Connie, have been married
25 years and are the parents of four children: Lydia,
Meredith, Janelle and Brantley. Mark also holds an Indiana
Insurance License. He attends First Baptist Church, and he is
a member of the Seymour Evening Lions Club, the Eagles Club, and a
Board member of the Seymour Boys and Girls Club. He is the past president of the
Cortland Alumni Association and is the leader of Boyscout Pack 529.
In 1989 he was voted Big Brother of the
Year and in 1999 was Seymour's Small Business Man of the Year.
Mark's hobbies include coaching various girls and boys basketball
teams and cheering on his children in their team endeavors.
Dona Williams - Receptionist
Dona
Williams has been the receptionist at Voss & Sons since 2000. She is
married to Duane Williams and they have two sons; Darrell and Ryan,
as well as five grandchildren. Dona and her husband are members of
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. Dona graduated from Seymour
High School and has lived in Seymour all her life. She enjoys
cooking, gardening, and shopping.
Linda L. Eglen - Funeral Director
Linda L. Eglen is a full time funeral director.
She is a graduate of Mid America College of Funeral Service.
Linda is mother of three children and grandmother of five.
She enjoys collecting vintage jewelry, antiquing, and flea marketing.

Bob Rudicel - Monuments
Bob Rudicel is our full time monument specialist.
He resides in his hometown of North Vernon, with wife Kris,
and their children; Shelby, Carley, and Zach.
He is a member of the North Vernon Nazarene Church where he plays trumpet
and harmonica in the orchestra. In his spare time he enjoys motorcycling,
tractors, and tinkering in his home workshop.
Billie
Jo Jackson - Secretary
Billie Jo Jackson is the secretary for Voss and Sons.
She and her husband Steve Jackson have two grown children;
Nathan and Amy Jo. Billie and Steve are members of First Baptist Church
and are Seymour natives. When not visiting “the kids” in Indianapolis,
she enjoys listening to music and reading.
Leon
Seitz - Part-Time Associate
He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of two grown sons.
They have one grandchild. They are both active members of St.
Paul's Lutheran Church at Borchers. Leon came to us this year after
retiring from 40 years of teaching in the Seymour Community School System.
His hobbies include spending time with his granddaughter,
following local and college sports, and hopefully will include travel soon.
Dick
Burke - Part-Time Associate
Dick L. Burke is a part-time associate. He was born in Seymour in 1944.
He married Marie Collman August 23, 1964 at Uniontown Baptist Church.
He has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. He served in the US Navy submarines
for 4 years and retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 1999.
He is a member of Masonic Lodge #146 and the Order of Eastern Star in Seymour.
His hobbies include RV'ing, golf, fishing, and flying.
Lola
Edington - Part-Time Associate
Lola Edington is a part-time associate. She is a graduate of Freetown High School and lives in Seymour. She is married to Paul and they have 2 children and 7 grandchildren. Lola came to us in August 2001 after working at Cosco, Inc. for 22 and a half years.
Riva
Pearson - Part-Time Associate
Reva Pearson is a part-time associate.
She graduated from Clearspring High School in 1945.
She married Marvin H. Pearson December 7, 1946.
She has two children and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She worked for Indiana Telephone for ten years.
She retired from Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan in 1989 as a
corporate secretary after 30 years of service.
We have been fortunate to have her here at Voss Funeral Home for the past 14 years.
Her hobbies include hunting mushrooms and fishing.
Sharon
Tirey
Sharon began working at Voss and Sons in 2007.
She moved to Seymour in 1963 from Mitchell.
She and her late husband Jerry are the parents of three grown children
and have 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She retired from Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan Association after 22 years.
She is a member of First United Methodist Church where she serves as the Treasurer.
She is also a member of the Seymour Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Her hobbies include piecing quilts and reading and she enjoys browsing in quilt shops
and bookstores in her spare time.
