She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and playing cards and traveling with her friends.
She was born July 2, 1921, in Shelby County, Indiana to James W. and Laura B. Rhoades Cockerham; both preceded her in death. She married Sylvan R. Stroud on February 15, 1941 who preceded her in death on July 23, 1969. She is survived by three children, Larry (Elaine) Stroud, Dixie Osborne, Sally (Garry) Boofer; seven grandchildren, David (Karen) Osborne, Dee Osborne, Dana Huber, Tonya (Brian) Tieman, Michael (Melanie) Morris, Brian Stroud, and Darb Boofer; 10 great grandchildren, Jessie and Dustin Osborne, Ben Huber, Jay Rafferty, Emma and Max Boofer, Adam Tieman, and Amie (Matt) Green; and extended family, Scott, Barbie, Maddie and Sam Huber.
