Mr. Robert E. (Buck) VonDielingen, 78, of Seymour, passed away at 4:57 PM, Friday, March 5th, 2010 at Schneck Medical Center

Buck was born in Jackson County, IN on April 2, 1931, the son of the late Edwin Henry and Martez Louise "Teddy" (Taskey) VonDielingen.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War, Carpenters Union and Self employed Auto Mechanic.  Buck retired at Cosco Industries after 41 years in 1992.

He was the husband of Geraldine M. "Jerry" (Beavers) VonDielingen, whom he married in Seymour on October 28, 1956.

Buck is survived by his wife, four daughters, Robin D. (Bobby) Scales, Kimberly K. (Dave Mellencamp) VonDielingen, Janine L.  VonDielingen, and Lorri A. VonDielingen, two sisters, Donice (Richard) Zaring, Sheryl (Walt) Tompkins,  6-grandchildren; Mark  A. (Madeline) Scales, Erin D. Scales, Amy L. Scales, Hannah L. (Josh) Jenkins, Becky Wheeler, Randy E. VonDielingen: 6 great grandchildren; Jalen A. Scales, Madisyn M. Scales, Jack F. VonDielingen, Ashtyn G. Jenkins, Kayla J. Jenkins, Toni R. (Keith) Evans: 1 great great grandchild: Victoria R. Evans

Preceded in death by: parents and one Sister; Shirley Nichter

Funeral Service will be at Voss Chapel, Seymour, at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10th,  with Rev. Daniel Lepley officiating.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday after 11:00 am until time of service. 

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family request donations to American Diabetes Association or Ronald McDonald House.
 
Full Military graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW post 1925, American Legion Post 89, DAV, Korean and Vietnam Veterans all of Seymour.
