Mr. Larry D. Marshall, 64, of Seymour, passed away at 1:49 PM, Monday, February 22nd, 2010 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Born in Seymour on December 8, 1945, Larry was the son of John Henry and Elizabeth Marie
(Cummings) Marshall.
On October 9, 1966 in St. Peter Lutheran Church, Waymansville, he married Alberta Acton, who survives.
Larry was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Waymansville, where he held various church board positions. Larry graduated from Cortland High School in 1963. He served in the National Guard. Larry retired from Cummins in 1997 after 32 years of service. He was active in the 4-H Livestock Auction and 4-H Council. Larry was a pheasant hunter, he coached Little League, and he enjoyed raising English Springer Spaniels and show cattle.
Besides his wife, Alberta, he is survived by his sons, Greg (Jamie) Marshall, Chris (Molly) Marshall; grandchildren, Brady and Bridget Marshall, Owen and Claire Marshall; brother, Johnnie (Shirley) Marshall; sister, Janet (Tom) Disque; uncles, Jim (Lois) Cummings, George Cummings; aunt, Becky Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Waymansville at 10:00 AM with Pastor John Beabout officiating.
Burial will take place at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, Waymansville.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Friday at the Church from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Memorials may be written to St. Peter Lutheran Church Building Fund, the Alzheimer Association, Breast Cancer Research or Donor's Choice.
