Jalin Allen "J.J. Tornado" Espinal, 8, of Seymour, passed away at home with all his family at his bedside on March 6th, 2010 at 9:10 p.m.
Jalin was born in Columbus, Indiana, on August 15, 2001, the son of Efrain Rodriguez and Amber (Stewart) Salvador and Jesus Salvador.
J.J. was in the second grade class of Miss Gallion at Margaret Brown Elementary School. He was a big fan of Kenny Chesney's music. He loved sports, especially soccer, and enjoyed playing football with his brother. J.J. really liked outdoor activities like bike riding, playing with friends, camping and fishing. J.J. was his mom's best friend.
Family who will remember him are Efrain Rodriguez and Jesus and Amber Salvador; his brother, Tristen DeJesus; grandparents, Vickie (David) Martinez, Mark (Becky) Stewart, Efrain Rodriguez, Sr., Peggy (Harold) Epperson; great grandma, Betty Stater; aunts and uncles, Barb and Oscar Reyes, Robbie (Allen) Bush, Robert Stater Jr., Sarah (Randy) Martinez-Applegate, Jarrod (Natasha) Stewart, Kelby Stovall, Robert Martinez, Maria Martinez, Cristy (Simon) Mora, Scarlet McAdams, James "Jimmy" Hyde, Cathy Clark, Mike (Cindy) Clark, Guillermo (Adriana) Mora, Ashlee Wood Chavez, Fabain Echeverria; cousins, Cody Dill, Allanah Applegate, Levi Mora, Jordan Mora, Paige Mora, Adan Mora, Jaden Wood, Miguel Wood, Jesus Chavez, and Aracelie Chavez.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Robert Lee Stater, Forrest "Fosty" Stewart, Deloris Stewart; and uncle, Allen Howard.
Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel, Seymour on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Mills officiating. Friends may call at Voss Chapel from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday and on Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery with a Voss Dove release.
Family ask that memorials be made out to Voss Funeral Service to help out with expenses.
