Mrs. Grace W. Lutes, 94, of Seymour, passed away at 5:45  PM, Monday, March 8th, 2010 at Lutheran Community Home.

Grace was born in Columbus, IN on September 25, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Sophia  (Moorman) Schroer. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church and  retired after 47 years at Excello Shirt Factory .

She was the widow of Winfrey  Lutes whom she married on August 18, 1934 in Ewing.

Grace is survived by a son, Dean W. Lutes, a sister, Evelyn Klinge,  3-grandchildren: Kimberly Dawn Flack, Michael Dean Lutes, and Shannon Jo Davila, 3-great grandchildren: Taylor and Daniel Davila, and Kelsey Ann Flack.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant brother, Robert Schroer.

Funeral Service will be at Voss Chapel, Seymour, on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend James Rodriguez,  officiating.

Friends and family may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Friday after 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Burial will follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

The family request donations be written to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
