Mrs. Geraldine Hollin, 80, of Seymour, IN, passed away February 21, 2010, at Hoosier Christian Village, with her loving family near.
Geraldine was born in Laurel County, KY, on November 11, 1929, the daughter of Ben and Josie (Harris) Money.
On May 1, 1947 she married Dan Hollin who preceded her in death August 12, 1989.
Geraldine was a very giving and caring person. She had been employed at the old Majestic Theater and Blazers Industry. Geraldine was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and enjoyed cooking with her grandchildren. She loved to sew and make quilts, and also enjoyed a good shopping trip.
Geraldine is survived by her children, Larry W. Hollin, Billie Jean (Ron) Smith, Anita Carol Graham; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Atha; and brothers, Bleve Money, and Billy Money.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, John Hollin; daughter, Rilla Sue (Hollin) Hatton, and brothers, Elba Money and Donald Money.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Thursday, February 25 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Marsha Rodenberger officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM and on Thursday from
12:30 PM until time of service.
