Mr. Ervin E. Bohall, 79, of Seymour, passed away at 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Ervin was born in Seymour, IN on July 6, 1930, the son of the late Garris and Pansy (Loudermilk) Bohall. On June 27, 1952, he married Jane E. (Whitcomb) Bohall in Seymour.
He retired from Ford Motor Company, Indianapolis after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Crothersville Church of the Nazarene and Local Union #1111. Ervin liked sports, especially watching I.U. Basketball and he enjoyed playing softball as he played on the Ford Motor Company team and played in the Greenwood Methodist softball league. He was a former church board member at the Southport Church of the Nazarene. One of his favorite hobbies was gardening.
He was a US Air force veteran and was stationed in New York, Mississippi, and Alaska.
Ervin is survived by his wife, children, Rev. Douglas (Rhea) Bohall, and Dr. Steven (Barbara) Bohall; brother, Daryl (Darlene) Bohall; grandchildren; Jonathan (Pollyanna) Bohall, Rachel Bohall, Brian Bohall, Bradley Bohall, and step grandchildren; Ryan Furry, Lauren Furry, and Eric Furry,
Preceded in death by; parents, Brother, Donald Bohall, and Sister, Norma Budde
Funeral Service will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, Jan. 25th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Wooten officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday, Jan. 24th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday after 9:00 am until time of service.
Full military graveside service will be conducted by the VFW, American Legion, DAV, Korean and Vietnam Veterans.
