Mrs. Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Brackemyre, 55, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, February 28th, 2010 at her residence following a year long battle with cancer. Mrs. Brackemyre was employed at Jay C. Food Corporate Office. She loved playing golf, volleyball, cards and doing things with her grandchildren. She also loved spoiling her dog "Bogey". She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Beth was born in Seymour, IN on October 15, 1954, the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Mary Joan (Sinkes) Hauersperger. She married Charles "Chuck" Brackemyre on February 14, 1988 in Deerfield Beach, Fl.
Beth is survived by her husband, one brother; Allan (Susan) Hauersperger; two sisters; Mrs. Barb (Bill) Ostdiek, and Sally (Roger) Doyle, One stepson; Justin Charles (Kristin) Brackemyre, two grandchildren; Madison and Brayton Brackemyre, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by parents, 1-sister; Julie Ann Hauersperger, 2-brothers; Fred Hauersperger, and Gib Hauersperger
Funeral Service will be at Voss Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 3rd, with Fr. Dan Staublin officiating.
Friends and family may call at Voss Funeral Service, Voss Chapel, on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour with a Voss Dove release.
Family ask that charitable donations be given to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure or the V Foundation.
