Mr. Donald V. Richart, Sr., 69, of Seymour, passed away at 1:20 PM, Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 at Schneck Medical Center
Donnie was born in Seymour, IN on February 16, 1940, the son of the late Sylvester and Hannabelle (Taskey) Richart. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Four Cornersand had worked at Cummins Engine Company. Some of Don's hobbies were hunting, fishing and woodworking, as this was his favorite pastime activity. He was a true craftsman. Don enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially watching I.U. Basketball.
Donnie is survived by a daughter, Sherry Richart and David Long, two sons, Donald, Jr. (Angela) Richart, Kelly J. (Sheila) Richart; two sisters, Barbara Zebell, and Patricia Haines; a brother, Thomas (Janie) Richart; 5-grandchildren; Zachariah Hardesty, Jeremy, Chloe, Natalie, and Nicole Richart, 1-great granddaughter Addison Richart, A special nephew Mel Cross and several other nieces and nephews

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel, Seymour, IN, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12th, with Fr. Dan Staublin officiating.
Friends and family may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday After 1 p.m. at Voss Chapel.
Rosary service will be held on Thursday, 7:30 pm at Voss Chapel.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Four Corners.
