Mr. Chester Neal Hawn, 78, of Seymour, passed away at 9:15 PM, Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at Schneck Medical Center
Chester was born in Seymour, IN on October 4, 1931, the son of Charles W. and Daisy (Maples) Hawn.
On March 23, 1960 in Brownstown he married Joan Allman, who survives.
Chester served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He had been employed at Swains Industry, Seymour.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at Riverview Cemetery on Thursday, October 15 at 1:30 PM with the Rev. Dr. Tania Wiseman officiating. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Voss Funeral Service, Seymour, IN.
