 Betty J. Jackson, 63 of Seymour passed away November 22, 2009 at St. Vincent Heart Center of Indianapolis.

Betty was born October 24, 1946 in Seymour to the late Nelson and Doris (Blickenstaff ) Lewis.
She was the widow of Dan Jackson, who passed away June 14, 2005.

Betty is survived by one daughter, Chris (Tim) Narber and two grandchildren, Rachel Taskey and Christian Narber.
She is also survived by one brother, Alan (Lisa) Lewis and two sisters, Jackie (Jeff) Evans and Janet (Vickie McCaffree) Lewis.
Other survivors are one aunt, Kay Lewis, a cousin, Anita (Mark) Lee and a niece and nephew and two great nieces and her beloved dog, Nutmeg.

Betty was a 1964 graduate of Shields High School and a 1965 graduate of Sullivan Business Collage.  She attended First Baptist Church of North Vernon.

She was a member  and secretary of AARP, Jackson County , Home Extension Club and Teacher's Wives (Adoptee).  Betty was an avid bee keeper, loved to travel, read and enjoyed bowling.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral service will be 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 with Pastor Bob Weeks officiating.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel, Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 3:00pm until time of service.
Cremation will follow, as requested by Mrs. Jackson with Tri-County Crematory, Seymour..

Memorial checks may be written to Anchor House, Provisions Inc. or Vietnam Mission Trip of First Baptist Church of North Vernon.
